Emerging research: Intergroup attitudes and health (mortality, smoking, etc.)
In addition to my papers in Social Science & Medicine, Social Science & Medicine: Population Health, and PLOS One, there is now an emerging body of research that employs the same focus on intergroup attitudes, including prejudice, and their ties to various health outcomes. Researchers who have published papers in this area include widely respected scholars at Columbia University, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, and Berkeley.
